Roman numeral XXI
21 is the end of the Major Arcana journey, marking the arrival at full awakening from the Fool's 0. It stands for the work completed, wholeness, and the unity of cosmic consciousness.

The clear pale blue stands for unclouded consciousness, truth and the boundless breadth of spirit — the soul granted absolute freedom in the cosmos, and inner stillness.

Laurel wreath
The oval green wreath stands for the cycle of life, victory and protection. It works like a gateway, guarding the soul's completed state, and it also marks the flourishing of the material world.
Red infinity ribbons
The red ribbons at the top and bottom of the wreath are tied into infinity symbols (∞), standing for the eternal interweaving of matter and spirit. Red marks life energy still active inside completeness.

The dancer
The dancer at the centre stands for freedom and harmony of the soul, held in a moving balance. Her nakedness marks truth and purity, showing the perfect union of the two polarities.
Purple sash
Purple is the colour of royalty and divinity, standing for noble wisdom and spiritual authority. The sash lifts in the wind, showing the dancer resonating with cosmic energy.

Two wands
A wand in each hand stands for command over the twin forces of evolution and involution, manifest and hidden. It marks a full rounding of ability and the transcending of duality.

The four living creatures
The man, eagle, lion and bull in the corners stand for the four elements and the fixed signs. In the World they are no longer reading: knowledge has become inner wisdom and witness.

Crossed legs
The dancer's legs cross into the shape of a 4, exactly the reverse of the Hanged Man's posture. It marks release from the spiritual trial, and absolute freedom to act.
