Arrow of Time

1. Past

   Where the matter came from and the cause that was planted. You are reading "why did it come to this".

2. Present

   The core state right now and the real sticking point. This is the centre of gravity of the whole spread — read it through first.

3. Future

   Where the present momentum leads if it continues — a possibility, not a fixed fate, and it moves with what you do now.

COMMON MISREADINGS

• Treating "future" as a verdict — it is a trend running with the current, and it moves with what you do now.
• Reading the three cards separately without connecting them — the value of this spread is that "where from, where stuck, where to" is one story.
• Skipping "present" and rushing to "future" — the centre of gravity is the present card; it is the one place you can act.
