Trend Analysis

A deep analysis of one specific matter. Dig out the core, lay out strength and weakness, take the advice, then look at the outcome — and the advice card very often lands exactly on the weakness.

1. Core / subconscious

   The nature of the matter and the motive you have not stated. It sets the key.

2. Strength

   The cards in your hand, the forces you can borrow.

3. Weakness

   Your shortfall, the place most likely to go wrong.

4. Advice

   The direction of action the cards give — usually pointed straight at the weakness. Watch how it covers the shortfall.

5. Outcome

   What the matter grows into if you follow the advice.

COMMON MISREADINGS

• Reading "weakness" as a verdict — it marks where the shortfall lives, and the advice card is often its antidote; read the two against each other.
• Skimming the core card — it sets the key of the whole board; unread, the other four drift.
• Abandoning the reading when the advice seems impossible — translate it broadly (collaboration = outsourcing / community / mentors); the cards give direction, not a roster.
